AIMS and Biomathematics

The Postgraduate Diploma Programme (PGD) has included courses in various aspects of biomathematics. AIMS and Stellenbosch University started a Biomathematics Honours course in 2008. AIMS also collaborates with

  • the South African Centre for Epidemiological Modelling and Analysis (SACEMA)
  • the Centre for Discrete Mathematics & Theoretical Computer Science (DIMACS)

In addition the research centre now hosts resident researchers in this field.
