Postdoctoral Fellowships
AIMS
is seeking applicants for Postdoctoral Fellowships in applications
of mathematics to biology, finance, astrophysics and cosmology, as
well as other fields in the mathematical sciences.
While the initial focus of the Research Centre is on the application
of mathematics to biology,
finance, astrophysics and cosmology, strong applications in all other
fields of mathematical sciences will also be considered. Fellowships
are tenable for two years, contingent on satisfactory progress, and
could be extended for a third year. Fellowships are immediately
available.
Duties

Conducting
research and assisting senior researchers in leading students into
exciting research projects
- Involvement
in general academic programmes
Requirements

A
relevant doctorate of high standing

developing research capability which will lead to good international
publications

Ability
to tutor postgraduate students successfully
