To date 305 students from 30 African countries have graduated from the Postgraduate Diploma programme. AIMS receives many more applications for the programme than the number of places available. For the September 2010 intake, 306 applications were received; 53 students (including 15 women) from 21 countries were selected.
The map below shows AIMS' progress in recruiting and training students. Students have graduated from the countries coloured green, students have been enrolled from countries marked orange, and applications have been received from countries marked yellow. AIMS plans to train students from all African countries.
