Milaine Seuneu, from Cameroon, is a 2010 AIMS graduate. She holds a Master’s degree in Bioinformatics (University of Cape Town,South Africa). Her overall interest is in the area of applied mathematics. Milaine is currently pursuing a PhD degree in Biomathematics at the University of Kwazulu Natal in South Africa. Her PhD is on multiple scales problems in natural sciences. When she isn’t pursuing her scholastic endeavours, Milaine tutors others and volunteers as the publicity and information officer for the African Women in Mathematics Association. Her desire is to aid public health by preventing and controlling threats like Tuberculosis and HIV/AIDS that have robbed her continent of many of its best and brightest and to also be a role model for girls in Africa.
